Chick-fil-A & Wilson Phillips

Look how sweet my little cowboy was at "Boo at the Zoo" Sunday! *this was the ONLY time that hat touched his head! LOL!*

So lell let me tell you about my weekend...

Such a wonderful weekend. And yes, we did get to enjoy the sounds of Wilson Phillips while dining at Chick-fil-a! LOL! So here is a quick run down of my weekend.
Friday night David worked late and I went to my parents and made a wonderful cassorole.

Saturday night the in-laws kept Zane and David and I went on a shopping spree at Target and Old Navy! Then we went to Chick-fil-A for "appetizers" since our dinner reservations were so late. Next we hopped on over to Tsunomi to meet my old buddy "Jillie Bean" and her "Babers" for drinks at the roof top bar *brrrrr*.
Then my sugarbutt and her hubs arrived and we proceeded with our fabulous sushi meal. *delish*
Sunday we picked up little man from the inlaws and brough him to "boo at the zoo". This was his first trip to the zoo! He enjoyed the stroll, all the animals, the costumes and the two suckers he had! Yep, that was his first taste of a sucker. It was all good till it was time to take the sucker away!
(I adore this shot of my boys going look at the Flamingos!)
Then we brought him to the corn maze to see the sights...not to actually go in the maze. There, we met up with sugarbutt before she and her family headed back to TX. *sigh* Life is good.

He went for a wagon ride...

Got to see how tall he was...

posed for random family pics..

and sat in the cow train! LOL!

I love fall! So nice! So much to do!

Dow is Crafty Like Ice is Cold!

Dow Chemical, the company I work for, made this fabulous wall art with HAMBLY papers!

How awesome is it that MY employer is crafty? I had no idea...I mean I never would have guessed! LOL! I thought it was totally cool when I saw this on the Hambly blog and couldn't believe that there was a connection between my "work" and my "play". Small world I say. Small world. So go check them out...because apparently not only does Dow do great things, but they are crafty too!
They also made these too with what looks like Luxe papers. *sigh* I love that Dow is crafty.

Weekend Review...

Ahhhh the weekend. It goes by so fast.

This weekend we went to a local nursery to take pics with the pumpkins. They had a photographer too so we will be getting a couple of professional pictures soon too.

My niece, Mya, came along too and was all to happy to pose for pictures with Zane. She will be getting a little sister soon and was all excited until she saw how messy and "gross" Zane is! LOL! Now she is not so sure she is ready for this little baby sister of hers.

All in all I think Zane enjoyed his trip to see all the flowers and the pumpkins.

Then Saturday night we went to a Halloween party. Can you guess what we went dressed as? he he! Ever since I was a little girl I have had a facination with The Phantom of the Opera. I even went see the play 4 times when it came to New when I saw this mask at the costume shop, I couldn't resist. AND I was looking for an excuse to wear that red dress again! So there you have it, The Phantom and Christine. We also cheered the LSU tigers to victory as we listened to it over the radio at the party. GEAUX TIGERS!

So one would think that would make this a pretty nice weekend. Well, it would have been if it wouldn't have been for the yucky baby vomit I had to clean up last night. Something my poor little guy ate did not agree with him. ICK! There was milk and strawberry mess all over the carpet and furnature in his room. *sigh* The joys of motherhood.

Who Doesn't Love the Weekend?!

Ahhh yes, it's Friday! Woot, woot! Weekends seem to make the week all worth it. Like the creamy center of a twinkie. You chomp threw it and then you get to enjoy the good stuff. Here are some pics from our outting last Saturday night...

We went to a "happening" little place called The Roux House.

We had some drinks...can you tell which one is mine? LOL!

We hung out like college kids.

Had good conversations with friends.

And even spotted a reality TV star...Theo from Real World New Orleans.
*sorry for the sucky picture...this was our attempt at being discrete.*

Oh and Alissa...this is why you are always spilling your drink. *note the tilt of the glass*

So this weekend we are going to a Halloween party which I'm sure will be a hoot. Other than that, we have no big plans. Halloween parties always produce the best pics!

Fall into Fall

We are enjoying the crisp fall air and Zane is getting ready for Trick or Treating!

He's such a ham! I hope we get a chance to make it to the pumpkin patch before all the pumpkins are all gone!

Live & in Technicolor!

This is my take on the latest Masters Kit by Memory Mania.

How perfect is that name...Live and in Technicolor! This kit starts out with black and white and jumps to vivid colors and fun prints. How can you not love that contrast. I literally used ever single thing in this kit and every single piece of paper and I'm thrilled with the results!

Brought to you by the letter "H"

I'm so proud of this little mini I made with my new Hambly super thick overlays. This stuff is indeed SUPER thick! I cut out the cover in the shape of an "H" and used my crop-a-dile to punch holes in it. Then I PACKED it full of Hambly yummies! You can see more in the slide show below.

It's Offical...

I have an etsy shop!
With goodies like this now for sale...

Check it out

It's craft show season!

So I've been craftin'.
I've made necklace sets

I've made pendants out of vintange game pieces and carved bone beads.

I've made hair clips and decorated mini purses with felt flowers.

I even made pendants out of vinage earrings and more! I love this hobby.

**Notice how I snuck some Hambly rubons in there!**

Yesterday was the first of two fall craft shows I'm doing this year. My craft time has been so think this year with a one year old running around so not much time for craftin' or for craft shows. So I'm thinking about opening an etsy shop but there is SO much out there. What do ya'll think?

#1 in the Nation. Yeah baby!

Congrats to the LSU tigers on thier victory over the Florida Gators! Keep on keepin' on!
