Look at my angel! He is so perfect! These are some pics courtesy of my dear sugarbutt!

Yes, he is feeding me his cookie! How sweet is that? I know, all kids go through that stage but it is just so precious to capture it...a moment frozen in time forever!
And here we are, me and sugarbutt...thanks for having us over on such a wonderful holiday!

New Year's Resolution

So I was purusing my favorite blogs this afternoon and ran across a fabulous idea by Emily Falconbridge. Consciously Thankful.

*Image taken directly from Emily's blog*

I'm going to do this...I challenge you to do so as well. This will be my 2008 new years resolution. Be thankful. I'll post more as my little version emerges.

Scrapjacked, Secret Santa & Circle Journals! *Edited*

I've totally slacked this week with the blogage. Sorry. Lots going on though.
This is my scrapjack of Sara Berry. You can't really tell from the pic but it's a clear layout and looks way cooler in real life.

This is the sweet little package I got from my secret santa. Inside was some of the new Making Memories Noteworthy! YUMM~

And THIS beauty is my circle journal! It made it's way back to me, thick, full and dripping beautiful pages from my journal buddies! You girls did an awesome job. Gigi...I think yours may be my fav, but I'm still pondering and flipping through it!

I think I need to do some major scrapage tonight. You know scraping is my therapy and I'm having a tough time with Zane. His breathing problems have continued and gotten a bit worse so we are doing some more tests and going to a specialist. The doctor threw out some scary scenarios that I'm trying not to think about right now. I just want to know what is up with my little man and make him all better! On top of that, our Holiday plans have been canceled partially due to Zane's uncertain condition and doctor's appointments and partially due to my husband's grandmother's health. So I'm pretty bummed. At a time when I need comfort the most, it is snatched away from us. A cozy weekend in a cabin in the woods sounds like heaven right now...but alas it is not to be. So I'm thinking a little scrap therapy is in order.

My dear sweet BFF to the rescue...when my dear sugarbutt heard of the holiday cancelation plans, she invited us to her family's house for a big'ol traditional feast! This will be such a treat. Especially since I will have to miss my Thanksgiving in the woods AND I will have to miss her New Years party due to David's work schedule. This will be a treat indeed. Thank you sugarbutt!

Productive Weekend!

Now despite the fact that I have like, ZERO time these days, I managed to rock the new "The Dozens" kit! It was just so inspiring! Here is what I cranked out...

This is a 6X12 album cover I made for a new mini album titled "It is the little things". I'm going to use it to document all those little everyday things about my son.

Like his first merry go round ride!

And his crazy sleep patters and positions.
*Note: my son is not a smurf. Just bad lighting when I took the picture of the page! LOL!*

This is a fun one I did for our family book. The sign clearly states "no outside food or drink" but we only noticed it after I took this picture of him drinking his sippy cup! LOL!

And this one was just another fun one I did with a hillarious sign I came across!

Oh and not only did I get to play with this kit, I also made 14 new necklace sets for my craftshow this weekend (The Broadmoor Arts & Craft Show)! Now that is an accomplishment! My mom came over and helped me string beads and we just got on a role! I'll post pics of the jewerly later.

Besides all the craftiness going on, we had a busy weekend. We managed to go see my new neice in the hospital again and we went visit my hubby's grandmother in a different hospital. We were just movin' and shakin'. Now, as you can imagine, with all that hospital hoppin' little man seems to have gotten sick. I think it's his ears again but he also seems to have a tummy bug too. He woke up 3 times last night! YUCK. Talk about high maintenance! LOL! Guess I'm making a call to the doctor this morning! Hope ya'll had a good weekend.

Halloween was only a week away...

Yes I realize it's November 7th. Yes I realize I'm like a week late posting these. But I'm posting them...that's the important part...right? Here is my sweet little cowboy on Halloween.

We went to Boo on the Belleview (a little park trick or treat thing).

My friend Beth and her hubby came along too with their precious little 5 month old baby girl, Taylor. She was the most adorable little tiger!

Then we went to my brother's house were we went trick or treating in his subdivision with him and his little girl.
And then the night after Halloween we went check out the Halloween decorations at a friend's house before she started taking them down. She had that place decked out! Zane was pretty amused with it all.
He wasn't very sure about Michael he certainly wasn't scared of any of it!

So there. That was our Halloween. Now my Sugarbutt can rest now that she has seen her Godchild's Halloween pics! LOL!

Geaux Tigers! BEAT BAMA!

Well the tigers went to Alabama to win...and they did.
All I can say is Nick who? LOL! Doesn't he look amused? Yeah. It was pretty funny...well between all the nail bitting it was funny to watch his reactions to the LSU plays. Now don't get me wrong, it wasn't easy...but it was a good game. Those Bama guys put up a good fight and almost got us! But...we came out on top. Check out the video below. It was very motivational in the days leading up to the game. And now it's an anthem.
