Camp Crop A Lot

Ok, first and formost...the Memory Mania Masterpiece books came in and I have 6 layouts in it! I'm so excited that pages with my sweet little man are finally in a book for everyone to see! They surprised us this weekend with them and gave all of the local designers a wonderful tote bag and a copy of the book! I'll have details later on how to purchase it if you would like a copy of this wonderful sketch book.

Next let me just tell you how great it was to have my mother scrappin' with me all weekend. She came with me to Birmingham this spring but this was different, this time we sat down and scrapped our own pages, at our own pace (well sort of) and got to have "our" time. It was nice.
We were also with a great group of ladies from Houma, LA that I attend this event with every year (twice a year). They call themselves the "Mamarazzis" and I'm an honorary member! LOL! These women are so sweet and I got some fabulous goodies from all of them. THANKS LADIES!
And this was our table centerpiece. We all made a bucket filled with handmade flowers and other pretties made from scrapbook supplies. The judges must have liked it, cause we won first prize!
Ok, so here are a few more of my favorite pics from the weekend...

So there...Whhheeeeewwww! Camp Crop A Lot (CCL) is over! What a whirlwind! I was such a busy girl this weekend. A make and take demo, a class and three mini classes...all taught by me! YIKES! My stomach was in knots all weekend. Dispite the crazy nerves I had going on, I had a blast and still managed to finish almost 20 pages! Crazy, I know. So anyways, I had a wonderful weekend filled with some exciting new possibilities. I'll have to fill you in on that later when and if it all pans out. Send good thoughts my way! he he!

NEW Hambly love!

The new Hambly stuff is so amazing...Allison never disappoints with her designs! Here are two pages I did with some of the new stuff.

Urban Beauty - Brickwall paper, Mod Circles paper, journal rubons.
Girls - Woodgrain/Tree Rubons and a graph overlay from the last release.

Ahhhh! I have so many more designs dancing around in my head! Must scrap!

Did somebody say cupcakes?

Oh yeah! Cococupcakes! So I guess this is an official toot of sorts. I was asked to be on the design team for this brand new kit club! Although I haven't seen any offical peeks, it looks amazing! And they are doing some giveaways so ya'll go check them out and leave them some comments.

Speaking of giveaways, did you see the Hambly give away over on the Hambly Blog? That woodgrain is to die for and the other new products are gonna blow you away!

Playin' Hookie Aint So Bad...

Ok, for the record, i didn't play hookie. I took a 1/2 day vacation. But it felt like I was playing hookie. My dearest sugarbutt is in town! Woo HOO!
So we went visit a few of our Baton Rouge hot spots and snaped some great pics.

And the boys got to play. Well they really just sat there and looked at each other. But it's a start. They have the rest of their lives to be BFF, Right?

One of the places we went was a place called Circa. They have the coolest architectual vintage pieces that are just screaming to get photographed. Yes this is an old rusty, dirty piece of iron. Yes my child is touching it. BUT it does make a rad pic doesn't it?! Does that disturb any OCD moms? LOL!

Ok, now my mission today is to go to Hob Lob in search of some Love Elise and some other odds and ends. Then come home and scrap, scrap, scrap! Wish me luck.

My Yanky Doodle Sweetheart!

Our fourth was so nice and very domesticly friendly! LOL! I say that because it's holidays like this that remind me how important family is and how wonderful it is to just sit back (as much a possible with a 10 month old) and watch life. We had such a good time out at the camp on the river...just sitting on the deck, sippin' an ice cold coke, eattin' BBQ, swinging Zane and spittin' watermellon seeds! And yes Zane had watermellon...belive it or not, he didn't care for it. More pics to come.
