More Jewelry Love

Today was better. Still sucky and crazy. But I see the light. I think.

And I made more jewelry. That made me happy.

Today sucked.

Yeah, it sucked and I hate my job. Well for the time being I hate it. But tomorrow is a new day and that may all change. Isn't that how things go? I just had a horrible day at work...one of those days where nothing I touched went right. But I did manage to bang out these super cute earrings yesterday. I want to make more but i have ZERO energy and today was a gym day so that makes it worse. What do ya'll think about them? Oh and I resisted that double cheese burger and fries from McDonalds today. Despite my horrible day, I kept my Lenten promise and no McDonalds. See I am a good Catholic. Sort of. tee hee hee!

If you can't beat'em...

Another one of my childhood friends has taken the leap of faith and gotten hitched this weekend. Here is the happy couple.
It was a small ceremony but nice and the food was great.
Her dress was beautiful and she looked like she was having a blast the whole time!

Oh and the cake was delish too! I'm a sucker for a good wedding cake.

I looked over and saw her talking after the money dance and saw this...I had to snap a picture. It is just typical Nikki. Hand on the hip gossiping!

Oh and my sweet little man was ALL OVER the place! David had to stand outside with him most of the time. Oh well...at least he is cute!

So does THIS make us adults?

Ok, I've asked this question a number of times but never really feel like an adult. I asked it when I turned 18. I asked it when I moved out of my parent's house. I asked it when I turned 21. I asked it when I got married. I asked it when my son was born. And now I ask it again.
We have purchased our first brand new major appliance. We have purchased appliances before...used and discounted...but never new. This week our fridge when out and we went to Best Buy and bought a new one. I felt very adult. Very domestic. Interesting.

OH and I took my very first class at the YMCA yesterday. I'm sore but satisfied. Despite some frustrations at work this week and still not feeling well, I am actually at peace with life in general.

At the park

So we went to the park this weekend. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that my son prefered running into the woods over playing on the playground. He is "spirited" you know. He also rolled down a hill (not on purpose) and fell face first off the steps and into the sand and remained unphased by it all. He is such a boy.

How do you say "I Love You"?

I say it with Chandiler wrapping paper and a Hambly mini!

I can't wait to see what David thinks of this little mini I made for him full of pictures of us and Zane...oh and lots of Hambly!

You can never have enough HAMBLY!

A few more new pages using the new Hambly releases.

The new colors rock and I'm loving the versitility of the ATC patchwork papers!

This Dove Don't Cry!

New addition to the Dove of the East Russian line...

These papers and designs are so delicate. Below are pages I did with the original Russian line.
These are more masculine and rich.

Dove of the East is even releasing clear stamps at CHA to match their original lines. They are fabulous, I must say. I'm loving playing with the Russian ones that I have and I hope to get the others soon!

Oh yeah, I'm drooling RIGHT NOW! Hambly Brocade overlays and beautiful brocade shimmery papers with that vivid screen printed ink. OHHHHH I doesn't get much better than that! BUT we haven't seen all the new Hambly peeks...there is still more! Oh the anticipation!

DOE Peeky, Peeky

Here is a peek at the new Dove of the East papers...

They are so fresh and delicate. So much possibility for spring! Dove of the East has more up their sleaves that I just can't wait to share...some exciting stuff! And they will be on QVC Monday Feb. 4Th sometime between 7am and 10am. If ya'll have not checked them out...you must!

I'll get you, you wascally wabbit!

To celebrate Mardi Gras, Zane's daycare participated in a little kiddy parade. Zane was Elmer Fudd and my friend's little girl, Taylor was Babs Bunny.

Didn't she make a precious little bunny?
Too bad my son was "hunting her"!
David was a sport and dressed up to pull the wagon. Notice the John Dear garb...he was the "tractor" pulling the "float".
Tayor was so good and let me take some great pictures. Zane on the other hand...well he was a bit more "spirited".

There is a fine line between collection & addiction...

This is a snapshot of my dresser with the new earrings I have bought in the last week.
Hello my name is Michelle, and I have an earring addiction.
Enough said.
