Monday Roundup...

Full weekend! Friday we went here to eat...
Then here...
To see them...

Saturday we went to David's grandmother's birthday party where I snapped a pic of Zane's "evil monkey" face. How funny is it that he has a banana in his had too?!

Then on to my niece's christening... She is so beautiful...

She looks more like me than my own child!

And how cute is this picture of Zane checking out his baby cousin. Such a nice weekend with friends and family.

When Scrapbooking Meets Jewelry Making...

Ok so this one doesn't have anything to do with scrapbooking but I was commissioned to make this little beauty and I wanted to share...
Now as my post title suggests, I used scrappy stuff to make jewelry! Damn I love when my two favorite past times collide!

For this bracelet I punched circles out of the Hambly thick overlays and applied leaf rubons. Then I punched holes in them with the crop-a-dile and attached them with jump rings. I had some circles left over so I made some earrings to match!

Cuttin' Up with New Hambly...

I got to do some scrapping tonight with some new Hambly goodies! Here is what I came up with.

For this one I actually used a picture of a clock in a magazine as a template. I traced it on a clear thick overlay, cut it out to form a reusable template and then traced it on a printed overlay and cut it out again. I ADORE how it came out. Just as I had imagined it!
Here is another page I did with the new Hambly houndstooth overlay and ATC card paper.

Now I'm all hopped up on Hambly fumes and feeling all creative...but alas I must hit the tomorrow. *blah*

Another Peekie Poo...

Here is a peek at another class I will be teaching at Scrap-A-Ganza this summer.

And here are more layouts I made with my "Sealed with a Kiss" Masters Kit.

I have made so much with this kit and still have tons left too. I think there may be a few more left if you are Tammy at Memory Mania.

We came, we saw, we teaed

Did you miss the Easter Tea? The Oriental Easter Tea? Well let me fill you in with pictures. We went a little overboard. Just a tad.

Then as if we didn't have enough Oriental flavor, we went eat Sushi with Sugarbutt. *sigh* It was a good day.As for Good Friday, we had the traditional crawfish boil and boy were they yummy. I didn't snap much pics but I did get this one of Zane's first encounter with a lizzard. Hillarious. Really.

So THAT'S what i've been up too...

Been busy. Very busy. This is a peek of an upcoming class I'm working on.

These are my layouts I did for the latest Masters Kit.

So what else? Well I've been preparing for my 5th Annual Easter Tea! Did I mention it's gonna rock? The oriental theme is gonna be SO over the top! So yeah, I've got my menu and my outfit and I even have party favors! Damn this is gonna make for some cute scrapbook pages! LOL!

Oh and with the Holiday weekend there will be plenty of eats! Between the boiled crawfish on Good Friday, the Oriental tea menu on Saturday and the BBQ on Easter Sunday, I'm going to be on happy lady.

Weekend In Pictures

Happy Clover Day!
This picture was snapped while we were waiting for the parade Saturday. Playing in the clovers. How appropriate!
I made these. Oreo Mint truffles!
We went to my niece's birthday she is with her daddy.

My little man with his balloon. The boy does love him some balloons!
This is my baby niece, Macie. So stinkin' cute!
And this is the latest jack over at scrapjacked.
**oh and FYI...he is no longer a noonie baby. Well not during the day at least!** he he!
Full weekend. Just like I like them!

Show me your shamrocks

We went parading today. Zane's first parade to be exact.

April invited us to go hang out at her friend Rebecca's house on the parade route so we had a great time. That is Rebecca below on the left. Thanks for a wonderful time!

The Mamossa...breakfast of champions.

And now, sights from the parade...
