Just some randoms of everyday life with my boys...
Z wanted to "help" and give Liam his bottle.  He said "ok I'm done" as soon as I took the picture.  LOL

This picture of Liam was taken at 3 a.m. after his feeding.  WAY to alert for 3 in the morning!

Sitting up in his Bumbo seat for the first time like a big boy!
Snapped this pic one morning when Liam was in his boppy next to me on the sofa looking out the window as I worked on my jewelry for the upcoming collection.  It suddenly hit me that this is my life.  *sigh*

This one just makes me laugh...Zane couldn't stop laughing and Liam just looked so unsure about the whole situation!  LOL
Love our randomness!

Not such a happy little angel

Why is it that this is alway MY kid at these types of functions?
Here he is at the closing ceremony of the second (and last) vacation bible camp of the summer.  He was one unhappy little angel...and everyone knew it!  LOL

For the Love of Art

So our friend Preston is an artist...and a pretty darn good one.
Well from the very first time I went to their house I've admired them.  They had them mounted on a bench on the patio outside and I commented on how much I loved them but left it at that.  So one day when I was there I saw it again and this time I asked if i could purchase it and to my delight the answer was yes!!  He even added this amazing salvaged window frame to make it more of a beautiful art installation.  We went strait home and hung it right away.  We also purchased a wonderful fleur de lis piece but haven't found the right place to hang it just yet.  But my owls, oh how I love them...i see them every for each of us;)

Just a Little "Staycation"

We were getting a little stir crazy around the house so we thought we would take a little "staycation".
Zane had been asking go on a boat so what better that the USS Kidd?  David and I had never been to tour it and it is a local tourist attraction so we decided we would head to Baton Rouge and see the sights.
 We bought souvenirs
 We posed for pictures.
 We saw the sights.
We took it learned some history.
 We took it all in.
Although it was a gloomy day, we braved the rain and made it out to the boat itself.
It made for a great day out...well minus a typical Zane melt down thrown in the mix.
All in all it was a great outing.  When we were done we headed downtown to grab some pizza and call it a day.

Vacation Bible Camp & New Buds

Brand new buddies and vacation bible camp make for a super fun summer...
...until it's over.  This is what it looks like when camp is over.  lol!

So this is Z's new BFF.  Meet Bobby.  Zane gets to hang out with Bobby quite a bit since I'm lucky enough to be friends with is mommy;)  It's aways so fun when you come across a family that fits so well with yours.  The kids play together, the girls can chat about crafties, cooking and kids and the guys talk about cars, motors, art and food.   It's always good times.

My Yankie Doodle Sweetheart

As you can imagine, with an infant we didn't plan on much in the smothering Louisiana July heat for the forth.  We just hung out at home with the family and cooked indoors.

Throw in some fresh watermelon and you can call it a day.

All dressed up and to the movies we go!
Yep, Lightning McQueen dropped off a little gift for Zane...his very own pit crew suit and requested that he come see his new movie!  He tends to get the VIP treatment like that;)  So it was off the the movies we went!

It was priceless to see him walk up to the ticket window and see the lady's face when he stepped up to the window.  She just grined and said "I know what movie you are here to see!".  Zane smiled and said "Cars 2 please."  It was so sweet and totally cute.  He was in his glory!
